About
Living in the pacific Northwest gives an artist an abundance of natural beauty to breath in and express and Susan is so very grateful to be living here. After a career as a corporate Graphic Designer in San Francisco, Nevada and Silicone Valley (Hewlett Packard, Bently Nevada, Performing Arts Magazine, Levi Strauss) she is now devoted to expressing herself through her "Mixed Media” painting.
Her ideas stem from nature and special objects which she draws, paints and scrubs into her work with energetic force. Some of her paintings are realistic and some develop into abstract art, all with a grateful force of being alive and expressing the beauty in what she sees.
Concentrating on life, nature and beauty, she reveals a sensuous curve of line, a sumptuous shape and the nuance of color. The intriguing world of color and all its complicated interaction, playing off values of lights and darks is an interesting challenge taking form in Susan’s art at the moment.
Susan paints to share a glorious experience with the viewer who is invited to delve in and travel along its path. Please enjoy Susan Kovacich’s work.
